Cracking, Spalling, Breaks, Anchorages and Perimeter Joints are all factors that can lead to much larger issues of moisture infiltration, structural issues or even hazardous situations to pedestrians.

The installation of these systems can be complex, as they integrate with the structure of the building and require different means and methods of waterproofing, fabrication and installation, based on the size, span and manufacturer recommendations. Finding failures can be the easiest part.

Water infiltration into the walls of the building often times stems from failure in the roof materials installation. Product compatibility, processes of installation and design criteria are huge components to determining failures.

Sometimes "the more sealant, the better" is not always the answer. Expansion/contraction of the joint area, width/depth ratio, sealant compatibility, coverage, weather vs design criteria and age of the sealant/coating are all taken into account when determining a resolution to this area of moisture infiltration.

Fabrication, coverage, insulation and underlayment of waterproofing are all critical components to proper installation. Moisture inflitration at these areas may show visibility through wall deterioration either from the interior or exterior.

Cracks, moisture infiltration, improperly placed expansion joints and sealants, can all cause further issues to the structural integrity of the surrounding conditions, which can result in cave-ins affecting pedestrians and property.

We may need to open up the walls to investigate the different layers of materials installed and verify that they were installed properly, including appropriate fasteners, air spaces, flashings, air & vapor barriers, as well as other components, in order to help find a solution.



infrared thermography





Evidence of organic growth is a sure indication that moisture has entered into unwanted areas. We are able to see where the various temperature points are in the building help determine if there are areas of moisture infiltration, open joints in the building or even existing wet areas.



humidity, moisture, water testing





We have the tools to test the moisture or humidity levels in a wall, along with the ability to verify if there are actual water access points through window type systems. We perform testing with ASTM and AAMA standards, which maintains integrity of the results.



storm damage assessments, due to extreme weather





Hail, Hurricanes, Tornados, Earthquakes and Flooding are all natural disasters that are unavoidable. Buildings are not exempt from the consequences these weather events impose. We investigate and determine where the damage has occurred and suggest actions of remediation.



borescope inspection & analysis





Without completely opening up a wall, we may be able to look under the surface with this method of investigation, which can determine if there are any underlying issues of breakage, disconnections, missing components or improper installations, to name a few.
